Hello! Just a reminder that two types of homework are sent home each week. We still have the letter of the week homework and there is also a reading homework sheet. Please listen to your child read the homework, then initial at the bottom and return to school. We are working on using different reading strategies to read unknown words. Some of these strategies include "smooth blending" (aka. sounding out,) and using words we know to help us read a new word (ie. seem is just see with the m sound at the end.) As always, thanks for helping your child complete and return weekly homework. The children are making great progress!

Recess - With this weird weather, it's hard to figure out exactly how to dress for recess. Please remember, weather permitting, they spend 30 mins outside for recess. Even if the weather person says it's going to be a warm day, it is still pretty chilly outside during morning recess.

Pizza Hut Book-It Program - March Book-It forms were sent home on the 1st and can be returned as soon as the goal has been met.

Fridays are Show & Tell day - Objects should begin with the letter of the week and fit in your child's bookbag. No breakables, please.
