Welcome to the home of the Waterloo Vikings!
Waterloo is a small community that takes great pride in its school and residents. One hallmark of a great school is the presence of familiar names; it’s not uncommon to see the grandchildren of past graduates walking the halls. Many staff members are also alumni of Waterloo, returning to their roots to begin and eventually retire from their professional careers as Vikings. While not everyone has deep roots in Waterloo, once you become a Viking, you will always take pride in that identity.
We have a wonderful blend of new families in the community, and our district strives to make students and their families feel like part of our family. Our core values emphasize building strong relationships and maintaining high expectations in academics, athletics, and the arts. Each day, we reflect on how we can improve the experiences of our students, families, and staff. Strengthening relationships between the school and all stakeholders will enable Waterloo to continue thriving and growing with opportunities for our students. We will keep reaching out to ask for your support in our academic, athletic, and arts programs. Small communities flourish when everyone works together toward a common goal.
Our purpose is clear, and the tasks ahead of us are both impactful and rewarding. We look forward to partnering with you and your family to ensure that Waterloo remains a wonderful place to live and to raise your children for many years to come.
Sincerely,
Frank Gant
"It's a GREAT day to be a Viking!"
