Hello Viking Family!

My name is Brenna Kirkbride, and I am incredibly excited and honored to serve as your new Elementary Principal. What makes this opportunity especially meaningful to me is that I am also a proud alumna of Waterloo Local Schools! Teaching in the school for seventeen years and now becoming the principal in the school community that helped shape me as a student feels like a true full-circle moment!

Throughout my career in education, I have been passionate about creating a school environment where every child feels welcomed, valued, supported, and excited to learn. I believe strong relationships are at the heart of a successful school, and I look forward to continuing those meaningful relationships with our students, staff, families, and community.

As a principal, my goal is to listen, learn, collaborate, and help create opportunities for every student to grow and thrive. I am committed to supporting our teachers and staff while ensuring that our students remain at the center of every decision we make.

I am grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve in this community that means so much to me and to begin this new chapter alongside all of you. I am so excited for the year ahead and look forward to getting to know each of you.
