Waterloo Elementary School Principal

Message from the principal of Waterloo Elementary School...

The 2020-2021 school year will soon be here in full swing! Due to the Covid-19 situation, we have seen many drastic changes in education! Most of our students will be coming back to the school building as in-person learners, while around 20% of our students have opted to learn remotely for the start of the school year. The district purchased Chromebook laptops so that every student will have one this year.

I'm proud of the dedicated staff that we have here at WES who have 'moved mountains' to make it possible to start school on time on September 8, 2020. I'm also thankful for our supportive parents and grandparents who trust us with their greatest treasures: their children. We don't take our mission or our responsibility lightly! It may not be an easy year; but when parents/grandparents, teachers, and school support staff work together, we will ensure the success of each student!

Regardless of covid, masks, social distancing, remote learning-or any other obstacle that gets in our way, Waterloo Elementary School will continue to "cultivating the future" through high quality instruction and experience-based learning connecting students’ lives to their futures!

Please take advantage of our website, the Elementary Facebook Page, and the Elementary PTO Facebook Page to get information about what's happening in the school. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to stop by the office or contact us at 330-947-2153 or email awalker@waterloovikings.org

I appreciate everyone's patience and perseverance during this difficult time! I'm looking forward to a great school year - we will prevail!

- Mr. Aaron Walker, Elementary School Principal
